A new chapter for the Sundevils.
Last night, Sunset Junior High celebrated the grand opening of its new building with a ribbon cutting and Back-to-School Night.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Principal Tami Oliver, followed by the Northridge High School AFJROTC Honor Guard Team posting the colors. Guests heard from Superintendent Dr. Dan Linford, Board of Education member Michelle Barber and Sunset City Mayor Scott Wiggill before officially cutting the ribbon.
We are grateful to Davis County voters for approving the 2022 "Building Generations" bond, making this beautiful new school possible.
After the ceremony, students explored hallways, met their teachers and got ready for another incredible year as Sundevils.
Here’s to new beginnings and the bright future ahead at Sunset Junior High!
