Sunset Junior High Symphonic Band, directed by Ms. Sarah Johnson, qualified for and performed at the Utah State Band Festival as one of the top 30 junior high bands in the state. They received 1's (Superior Ratings) from both judges, as well as a 1 on their sight-reading, qualifying them for the Sweepstakes Award.
